Waiting in line

Clicking that refresh button like a mad man in the wee hours of Friday morning at 2:01am. Website said that the online store is still down and will be back up shortly. AT&T's website wasn't lagging as well. I don't know how many times I clicked that refresh button until I got in and placed my order, which was around 4am. What did I order? The new iPhone 4s from Apple.

I was pretty much in a virtual line and fighting to get into the website. It was a pain and a long process. I don't know if I would be able or want to do this again. This is a first time experience for me and I don't know how people stay in lines for hours on end, even days at times.

On Black Friday, I see a lot of people waiting in line outside in the cold for a deal that they can't pass up on. What if when you get in and its gone? Would you settle for something else or leave empty handed? I always see the deals for Black Friday but when you think about it, you aren't saving that much. There are always plenty of deals going on, just have to search around or order online.

I was never into the whole waiting in line for hours to get an item I really want or need and I don't think I would do it again whether it would be at a store or a virtual line on the internet. It's cool and all to have the newest thing but is it worth the time waiting?
